Who Knows?

Long experienced chiropractors may have delivered hundreds of thousands of adjustments yet we do not know all that happens coincidental to an adjustment.
The world’s greatest health scientists do not know all that happens coincidental to an adjustment. Few would have delivered a single adjustment, let alone thousands.
The world’s medical profession does not know all that happens coincidental to an adjustment. Chiropractic is not taught as part of medical education. I have not heard of a medical practitioner whose sole key method of practice is adjusting subluxations.
Patients do not know all that happens coincidental to an adjustment. What is characteristic for one patient following an adjustment, e.g. improved hearing, may be totally irrelevant to thousands of others who receive similar adjustments.   Much the same adjustment when given to various patients may invoke quite different responses.
I know the patient and I may share the experiences of locating a subluxation and that after I have adjusted the subluxation the indicators we felt previously are usually reduced or gone. We do not know what happens within the body at that time.
Our bodies have an inborn, an Innate Intelligence, that governs and oversees the expressions of life within us. Seemingly when a patient goes from “being out of adjustment” to being “in adjustment” the body’s innate intelligence governs the changes that happen coincidental to an adjustment.
All that happens within our body when we are adjusted is known only to our Innate Intelligence.

Years ago a newsletter featured a moment that for me is cast in stone, it concerned Julian’s dachshund, Nutmeg (out of Cinnamon). Immediately after I adjusted her subluxations, Nutmeg lost her well established leg weakness and as she ran about Julian exclaimed:  Well, that certainly improved her velocity

As a chiropractor, I put nothing into Nutmeg’s body, I took nothing out.  Initially I did not know for certain if her disorder was spine related. Nor did I cause Nutmeg’s recovery. If Nutmeg was dead I could have repeatedly adjusted her spine, without influencing her recovery. I would have been powerless without the power that made the body and that healed the body. I am a  servant; not the master. Organised medicine dismisses vitalistic chiropractic as an unscientific cult.
